Creativa | Contributing WriterAna Diaz is a proud first-generation Mexican American, born in Salt Lake City, Utah, and raised by her single mother and grandmother between Ciudad Juarez and El Paso, Texas. She defied the odds to become the first in her family to graduate.
Living in El Paso, Ana embraces the rich cultural tapestry of the border region and instills a deep appreciation for their heritage in her children. Ana is a devoted mother to three wonderful children: a 12-year-old son, a 4-year-old daughter, and a 2-year-old daughter.

She now resides in St. Charles, Missouri with her husband of 23 years and children ages 20 and 16. During the day, she teaches Multilingual learners from countries all over the world. In her spare time, she loves exploring the city, connecting with women of all walks of life, and embracing new rhythms that offer outlets to be creative.

The first in her family to pursue higher education, she earned an M.A. in Mass Communications and spent a decade working in the nonprofit sector, advocating for immigrant families and underserved communities. Now a stay-at-home mom to her one-year-old son, Kristen recently launched TimeLens Photography, a small business capturing the beauty of everyday family life through her lens.

Comadre | Support Team MemberSara Tano was born and raised in El Paso, Texas, and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from UTEP in 2015. After several years in outpatient orthopedics, she shifted to pediatrics following the birth of her daughter. While she still practices part-time, Sara’s heart has always been set on becoming a stay-at-home mom. Through content creation on TikTok—and with the support of her husband—she’s now living that dream. Today, she juggles life as a homeschool toddler mom, physical therapist, and digital creator with heart and humor.
